Whole portabella mushroom caps
Toppings (beef, pepperoni, onions, red peppers, etc)
Scoop gills out of caps and put those in your compost.
Cut stem off even with cap. Cut up for topping
Rub olive oil over top of cap, sprinkle with garlic and salt.
Rub olive oil over underside of cap, sprinkle with garlic and salt.
Heat oven to 400°
Put in mushroom caps in oven for 10 minutes.
Take mushrooms out of oven, bottom up.
Put pizza sauce, meat, cheese,toppings and cheese into cap.
Put back in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted good.
I used a fork, not sure how picking it up would work. Either way, DELICIOUS!!
